“Day by day continuing with one mind in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they were taking their meals together with gladness and sincerity of heart, praising God and having favor with all the people.  And the Lord was adding to their number day by day those who were being saved.”
Acts 2: 46-47

Our services mirror the key liturgical and sacramental elements practiced by the early Christians.  According to Scripture, they gathered together in their homes and “devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and fellowship, to the breaking of bread and prayers.”  As a present day community of Christ, we come together each week in the same spirit; to be nourished by the Word and through the Eucharistic celebration.

When Mass is celebrated, the Saint Clare Pastoral Center uses the Novus Ordo Mass, known as the Mass of Paul VI, instituted in 1969.  This mass reflects the liturgical changes made after the Second Vatican Council (1962-1965).  Jesus said, "For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the midst of them." (Matthew 18:20)

We celebrate a private mass in our small home-chapel each Sunday.  The public is always welcome to attend.  Space is limited so please let us know in advance if you plan to attend.  We will gladly make room for you.  Mass begins at 10:00am with an informal social gathering following our worship service.
